A demonstration experiment was established to better publicise the varieties of the Crop Production Institute. Visitors receive an overview of varieties of forage grasses and legums, winter and spring wheat, barley, oats, winter rye, peas, soybean and winter turnip rape bred at the institute. Separate test introduces different lawn mixtures.
The Gene bank presents old oats varieties  ́Kehra saagirikas ́,   ́Jõgeva roostekindlam´ and  ́Hämarik ́. There were also sorghum and flax plots established, as well as planted local Estonian tomato varieties.
