The President of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Academician Tarmo Soomere, and representatives of the Algerian University of Agriculture visited the genebank of the Rural Science Centre. The head of the Genebank, Külli Annamaa, gave a brief overview of the activities of the Genebank, its participation in international projects and seed collection expeditions.

Marko Kass, Deputy Director and Liina Jakobson, Head of the Breeding Department, introduced the activities of the Rural Knowledge Centre to the guests.
