The exhibition "Glimpse of the Secret Eye of Seeds" is open at the Botanical Garden of the University of Tartu.
The exhibition includes various plant seeds and imaginative works of art made from seeds by children.
The process of seed germination, the ways and use of their propagation are introduced.
During the visit to the exhibition, an overview of the activities of the Gene Bank of the Estonian Institute of Crop Production will be given.
You can also find out how seeds are stored at the World Seed Bank, located on the island of West Taurus. Norway .
Those interested can buy seeds of local vegetable varieties from the Estonian Plant Breeding Institute.
The exhibition is open from 27 January to 6 March.
