University of Tartu Botanical Garden exhibition "The wondrous plants of Hiiumaa"
from 11 March to 27 April in Kärdla, in the Pikas Maja of the Hiiumaa Museum.

Hiiumaa is a very big island. There is probably no other place in the world with such a diversity of highlanders. At the exhibition, you can learn about forms of the yellow noble fly and the scrub-fly found in the nature of Hiiumaa, whose species diversity is probably unique in the world. Come and admire all the different variations of these species, learn about where they are found, discover their names and notice the different species growing in the forest undergrowth this spring.

Taavi Tuulik: "Later, however, I found more and more new plants in the vicinity of the previously found anemone, each with a special and unprecedented appearance... It was amazing that many of the finds were in places where I had observed the anemones quite thoroughly in previous years."
